This year instead of a Christmas party, we chose to go the the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. It was a wonderful trip!!
The children were greeted at the door by Santa's helpers. They enjoyed Christmas cookies and juice while they listened to "Snowmen at Night". The lobby had a beautiful, large Christmas tree with wonderful animated characters underneath.
We also got to enjoy meeting a snowman.
The children got to play in the band and dance.
The cookies and juice was delicious.
After listening to the book, Santa appeared and took the group to another part of the museum. Much to our surprise, the tour bus of the county music group Alabama was there. It was all decorated for Christmas. Santa and Mrs. Claus helped us sing Christmas songs. Then each child sat on Santa's knee and told him what they wanted for Christmas.
We then toured the wonderful museum. They had all kinds of displays about famous musicians and singers who were from Alabama. We loved reading all the material and looking at costumes and memorabilia .
We loved the giant jukebox and guitar .
After we toured the museum, we visited the gift shop. We all had a terrific time. Thanks so much to all the people at the Alabama Music Hall of Fame for a great day. We can't wait to visit again!!
