Brooklyn sent her bear to visit her Aunt Carole in Buffalo, N. Y.
This postcard shows some of the places in Buffalo where I live. Buffalo is a pretty large city that is surrounded by water and there are lots of exciting things for kids to do. Buffalo has a zoo, a Science Museum, and an aquarium. It also has amusement parks with lots of neat rides. Buffalo is also very close to Canada, which is another country. All you have to do is cross a large bridge and you are in Canada.
Hi Brooklyn, My name is Lincoln. I am an Illinois bear. I am getting ready for winter in Chicago, so I need a warn coat, hat, scarf and boots. Sometimes school is closed here if it gets too cold! In the summer, I like to water ski on Lake Michigan-- or watch my favorite baseball team -- The Chicago Cubs! I can't wait to meet all the other bears in your class.
