    Dear Mrs. Davenport's Class,

    Thank you for letting us be a part of your Ted E. Bear project.  We couldn't let Ted    go home without a cowboy hat and a pair of Chaps.  He loved visiting our class and learning about the great state of Texas.  We hope that all of you have a wonderful year in first grade and that you learn many facts about all of the states.
